To FLAC Converter

Overall, easy to use, fast and seems really solid. The only things I'd like to see extra are: - the ability to filter the source files (e.g. to only process WAV files) because if there's a WAV and an MP3, both with the same name, I either end up with 2 output files or one overwriting the other. - the option to allow another batch to take priority. - love the fact that successful conversions can have the source deleted after they have finished, but it would be nice to have the option to do it after each file conversion, ie not have to wait until the whole batch has finished. It's being really useful in helping me save hard drive space.

I will keep it short and sweet: great product. It's easy, fast, reliable and integrates well with Tag Editor.

an excellent converter, perhaps the best ever. Compared to professional audio editors that I use every day, "To Flac" allows you to choose the flac compression level and thus obtain very high quality files at an impressive speed. As soon as I tested it with original as 16 and 24 bit aif files, I immediately bought the Pro version. It will be my reference converter

Perfect program with flexibility to tailor compression and special effects. I have a music player that will not play apple lossless or aif, but WILL play flac, so I've been batch converting a few of my favorite CD's. (Batch is a premium feature and well worth it)

$15 for something that FLACtoMPEMac does for free? Or xAct does for free? Or __________ does for free? Are you seriously trying to pull me leg?

Be forewarned - all the 5-star reviews are fake.

prior to using FLAC, was using windows based ELAC and it threw error on almost all my audio CD either as sync error or peak level drop. But ripping in FLAC is seemless and there is no such error of kind. Option of having compression level is also very good. Check the rip and compared with audio CD and find it of very good quality.

Pretty straight forward easy to use app that does what it needs to do.

I used this program to convert my entire CD collection, which includes almost 1,500 albums, into FLAC format. The program has worked stably, has not crashed and has not hung up. In short, it does exactly what it should!

This converter works as easy as possible. Drop your cue-file in the box and the program will do what’s needed and does that outstandingly good. Forget about XLD and its 'learning curve' or whatever!

I use xACT to perform the same function as this app, for FREE. There are other free FLAC converters as well. If you hang on until macOS 10.13 comes out with iTunes v13, you'll find that iTunes will perform the conversion as well. [Yes, after all these years of us complaining to Apple, they finally got the clue and are going to support FLAC in iTunes. Snails will move, eventually.]

Forget this app. XLD does it for free. . .
