TinyCal is a menu-bar calendar with Google Calendar integration. It can show multiple months, use custom calendars, and show holidays and personal calendars. The basic version of TinyCal is free. You can use it as much as you like with no time limitations or obligations. Advanced functionality is available at the published price. The full version offers the following features:

Does not launch at start up, despite having correct setting. Does not list times of timed events (it never said it would but would have been useful feature). Would have requested refund if I could. Did not contact support for an $8 app - have wasted enough time already. Have used IT since 1981 so not a noob. Now using Chrome Extension: Google Calendar (by Google).

User of this app for I don't know how long. 25 years or more? This calendar has never failed to work on any Mac I've had it installed on over all these years. It is simple, nicely done and is the only top bar calendar that I know of that can show 1, 2, 3 or 12 months at one time. That simple fact alone is the stand out feature. Too many features to list. Download the trial and try it out. You will be pleased.

Not very functional on a Dual G5 PPC desktop with 10.5. Crashes when advancing month or when trying to change display from one month to two months.

Nice piece of software but no Monday first day option? I thought this was the de facto standard option in calendar programs.
