Royal TSX

I recently got a pop up message that said I had an update to install. Only AFTER I installed the update did they tell me that my license doesn't work with this new version and I can no longer tell what version I had previously to revert it back. So now I'm sitting here with a bricked app that I paid $50 for a year ago and I can either pay them another $50 or waste time figuring out how to revert this. It seems to me that they're making this process intentionally annoying to squeeze their customers for more money and I'll be ditching it altogether because this is ridiculous.

Version 4.3.2 was released on July 18, and now version 4.3.3 on July 21. This is usually a sign of regression bug or major bug that needed another quick update to address, so probably good idea if you are running 4.3.2 to quickly update to 4.3.3.

MACUPDATE, version 4.x.x requires macOS 10.12 or higher. Refer to https://support.royalapps.com/support/solutions/articles/17000027849 Please change the requirements listed on this page (which says 10.11)

Use the Mac and Windows versions daily, work and personal. Have actually found that the Mac screen sharing through Royal is more stable than Apple's built in screen sharing. Mac to Windows under Royal is more stable than using Microsoft's MAc version of Remote Desktop Connection. Screen scaling is much more responsive in Royal. For home/personal use, RoyalTSX can be used free, no nag screens, with just a few limitations (no more than 10 computers defined, etc) but connection functionality is NOT limited. I have used Jump Desktop as well, Royal is superior.

TSX has been around for a very long time. I used to use it in the '80's on DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) computers in place of RT11 or RSX. This was before personal computers were invented.

Odd, since you would think Royal utilizes the built in VNC functions in macOS, or may be not and it rolls its own VNC client code. Anyway, Highly recommend. Only thing, the UI in the new Windows 4.0 version is so busy and takes up too much screen real estate, wish they had steered more towards the Mac UI. Apart from Royal TSX, you can also use apps like R-HUB remote support servers for remotely accessing MAC computers from iPhones, iPads etc. It can be freely downloaded from Apple store.

Just great. Everything you need, simple to configure, saves a ton of time.

There are some small bugs or missing (advanced) features but communication with developers is very good and they are open to ideas.

What a gem! How could i live without this for so long?!
