Seems that RapidCart is not a paid version anymore; only RapidCart Pro is, but in two version Starter and Advanced. I really like to see what are the features of this one (but I can't see them listed on the dev. website).

This is a GREAT program with the best support from the developers that can be imagined.
They stuck with me through many tribulations that where mostly my issues.
You cannot go wrong with this solution.

I have been using RapidCart since v2 was released. I find it a great Cart to use with RapidWeaver. Best of all, though, is the support from Omnidea. I have asked a few questions about details and function and raised a couple of issues. Each time I get a response within a few hours. Always helpful and relevant, even to the extent of a new sub-version release to address the issues. These guys are great!

Wow, what perfect timing! I had literally given up on my search for an Ajax shopping cart system last week and started learning TomatoCart. I couldn't use the first version of RapidCart because it was too limited in shipping and credit cards. I can't wait to try this version.

Version 1 was very nice, but version 2 is a radical improvement. Too bad Omnidea's upgrade policy is time-limited. I waited too long to choose to upgrade and they want to charge me the full purchase price, so I've decided to switch the competitor's plug-in on principal. Great tool, but as a early adopter I would have hoped for better treatment.

Would be nice to have multiple shipping options... especially if your dealing with US and international sales. I'll stick with Big Cartel, but hope to see this feature added into your plugin.

Make no mistake, this is a KILLER plugin for RapidWeaver. This is a VERY FAST way of putting the "e" in commerce on a website. I purchased some months ago and have been doing some incredible things with this one. I did have a couple of "wants" and had contacted the dev. to submit my wish list. The response was prompt and favourable. He assured me that my biggest "wish" was forthcoming in the next major release. And voila! Here it is! Version 2.5 now has UNLIMITED OPTIONS from the previously limiting TWO. Take a big note of the DIRECT ORDER MODE because this one is unlimited for a lot of conventional businesses. I won't go into how it can be used, just use your imagination, because the opportunity for webmaster's to create websites for business (and generate cash flow) is incredibly unlimited! If I could publish my email, I'd offer consulting on the many ways to make BIG money with this one! :)

I finally bit the bullet and bought RapidCart. The interface and options are good (some features are a bit vague until to try them out), the cart very slick and I much prefer it to PayLoom. No complaints at all and the updates for it are automatic (though you can choose if you want to install them) when you launch RW, so that's a nice feature over most RW plug-ins which require you to manually update. I did encounter a few glitches in display for mulit-column cart layouts where it would sometimes not put the items in order, but switching to 1-column again, then back to that multi-column seems to fix it -- must be a slight coding glitch. Also, I had zero crashes during the 3-4 hours I've used it, so that's a plus. All in all, very nice.

I've used GoogaLoom, PayLoom, and now RapidCart. RapidCart blows the other two away, because it doesn't require users to interact with an unexplained pop-up PayPal window every time they add something to their cart. Instead, items' icons swoosh up into the cart icon, and all the shopping cart functions are integrated into the page, hovering there (through Ajax or whatever magic is running it).
I switched to this plug-in and am very happy with it. I think it provides a much more graphically polished and pleasing look on my site, and must inspire more confidence in users because of the visually self-evident way it carries out the shopper's selections.
It also allows for pop-up menus that change each item's features; my only wish is that these could affect the price (so I could have users choose local or international shipping, for instance, instead of having to host two separate shops on my site).

This seems to be a very interesting e-commerce plugin for Rapidweaver. I haven't purchased as of yet, but have been watching the developer's notes on the revisions which have been coming out rather frequently over the past while. This certainly doesn't guarantee it's a "keeper," but it does suggest the developer is very passionate on creating something really special. I think there may be some hesitancy on many users purchasing this one (like me) until either: A) More positive feedback is posted by happy users B) A HOT DEAL! sale is announced! ~ Denny Crane

I am curious also. A brief search of the Internet and all I see are links back to VT or MU, and no reviews. It would be a nice thing of someone reviewed this who knows anything about it. Also a side-by-side, feature-by-feature comparison with PayLoom would be a great help.
