Besides supporting the Dev, why buy that app if most functionality is available in the free versions? Is it just for iCloud sync and unlimited notes? Overall, it's a great handy app. Thank you.

This is a super app. I have it running all the time. Definitely worth the price - support the developer. My app has auto-updated to version 3.31 - MU shows 3.30 as I write this.

An app this great is free? It's fantastic for quick conversions and calculations - and the hotkey and menubar icon keep it always at the ready. An excellent, time-saving tool!

Superb app!! It is truly amazing typing stuff to calculate instead of only using numbers. Never seen such app before. Highly recommended to try and have fun.

Wow. Who would have thought that there is a calculator app worth talking about. This is truely awesome! Its also a perfect reminder of why i love working on OSX. There is no way a beautiful and yet very productive app like this will ever make it to Windows. Its just perfect.

Besides that I would love to see a font selection (like Ubuntu Mono (i love Ubuntu Mono)) and also switchting font size.

I revise my rating of Numi 2, which I wrote in 2013. Numi 2, unlike Numi, works very well and I love how handy it is in the menu bar. No more Calculator app suits me fine, and including text and print features I rate Numi 2 (conservatively) 4 stars! That's the good news. The bad news, I'm afraid, is that Numi 2 appears no longer to be available to buy. I repeat my disappointment with the original Numi, and want to ask the developer what the heck is going on, that a good, convenient menu bar app is being replaced with an older one (albeit free). I'm keeping Numi 2 and not taking the developer up on version 3, free or otherwise. Numi 3 is an instance of app de-volution. Don't bother with it a second! Barely 1 star. Average 1.5 stars

It's Cool！

Just purchased Numi 2 and then found out it can't be installed in the menu bar, contrary to Numi (1). At least I didn't find a setting to make that possible. Then checked the website, only to see there is no possibility to contact the developer. No contact? No purchase. So I asked the App Store for a refund.

I agree, it does take a fair amount of work by the developer to insure h(er)is app will be fully compatible with OS 10.9 Mavericks. But does that fact alone justify demanding I buy Numi again when only recently bought and paid for Numi 1.x?! Especially since I also bought and paid for Numeric Notes recently. Will Numi 1.7.1 not work in OS 10.9? If so, I don't see the what added value there is to upgrade, from 1.7.1 to 2.0. "Introductory price" of 4.99 is actually $4.99 X 2 = $9.98" i.e. there is no introductory price, really, is there? This is a flagrant example of what Consumer Reports magazine calls "Selling It" i.e. promising you a discount but in fact selling you full price. Numi's developer owes his customers better value and better customer service!

I'm having a whale of difficult time using Numi. it would be helpful if i could access documentation as the website suggests, but right clicking the menu bar icon simply opens a normal calculation window. No other way I have tried works either. The website support page doesn't answer any of my questions either, such as saving to pdf. I can't even click on an "About Numi" or choose a preferences command. Nothing but the window with accumulating numbers and letters seems possible. Im a pretty advanced Mac OS user since 1985, have OS 10.8.2, so I'm no beginner. Thanks for your help. Tom

Hmm, the second MAS app in a row that I have downloaded and which didn't then not work. The other one crashed; with this one nothing happens. The only customer review at the MAS cites the same issue. We're both using 64-bit Mac Book Pro's with SL. Not impressed.

WARNING! If you don't have English keyboard, you will not be able to use this application. To have the sum of a calculation you need to press "Ctrl+=" With my Swedish keyboard I can't do that combination, Sadly I bought the app before I discovered this problem. I'm sure it's brilliant for a English keyboard layout. But if you have in another language you might have problem. I tried sending the guys a email for two weeks now. But their email server is down. Some days ago I shared my problem here on the troubleshooting. And still no reply. So if you have questions, there is nobody to ask. Thats sad as this gizmo app could be good to have if it worked (for me),

Been trying to email the guys for days now, but their mail server don't work and mail bounces back. I don't have a English keyboard and can't use i.e. "Ctrl+=" to get the sum. That makes this widget useless for me, and I don't know if there is a fix?

Good replacement for standart calculator.
