To the developper : Can you pronounce, please, the name of your app ? I can't !

I just successfully installed KeyCastr using MacUpdate Desktop. As a test, I also downloaded it. Whatever problems people were having getting this app has been solved. Maybe for several years! I'm leaving a 4.5 star review because it works as advertised, and does everything I need. It may deserve 5 stars.

I'm really enjoy KeyCastr. However, i found that it didn't display the "words(my typing)" in my Mac and even i'm maximum the front size. Then, i changed "Selected visualizer" into ""Svelte". i found that it only can detect the "Command", "alt", "shift" and "control" buttons in the bottom of "box" which display nothing at "large area" in box whatever i type. Could any one help me?Thank you!!!

Pretty cool app. Some small feature suggestions: - Ability to display command keys only - many times in graphics software one holds down command keys to temporarily swap tools. Would be nice to be able to display these. - The bezel doesn't grow proportionally to the font size at the larger font sizes (displayed text ends up on two lines) - Option for text abbreviations instead of Command Key symbols (i.e. Cmd, Ctrl, Opt, Esc, Tab, Ret, etc.). Some people have no idea what those symbols mean :) Regardless, cool little app!

I started KeyCastr and got a "Catastropic error" because the service wasn't running. Tried again and it started, but there was no Dock icon or menubar icon - I had to go to the Terminal to kill it. This isn't some 10.5.2-related problem, maybe? Hopefully once I've got to an icon, I'll be able to set a preference to only show keystrokes with a modifier key pressed. It also seemed to be very difficult to move the window - it kept trying to jump back. The secret seems to be to keep pressing keys so the window doesn't try to close mid-drag...

Disregard the previous post. The secret to make the app work, is to enable access for assistive devices under the Universal Access Pane of System Preferences. This app is great! It does exactly What I wanted. In combination with iShowU or Snapz Pro, you can make great video tutorials.

It doesn't work under Intel v10.4.8 and 10.4.10 PPC

I love this program so much. I helps my video tutorials on Photoshop and Blender. There is just a couple of things I think KeyCastr needs. First - Much bigger fonts. Compressing my tutorials is hard when the keystrokes are not recognizable in the video. Second - An option to record the command space with a Icon instead of a little squarish u Contact me if u have any questions

Will this show individual letters, as opposed to just key combinations? For example, were I to type the letters W-H-A-T-D-O-Y-O-U-M-E-A-N-1-2-0-0-0-0-D-I-A-R-I-E-S -A-R-E-G-O-N-E-B-E-C-A-U-S-E-Y-O-U-D-O-N-T-K-E-E-P -B-A-C-K-U-P-S", would the individual letters display on the screen as they were typed?
