JPEG4Web overview
JPEG4Web makes getting your images ready for Email or web-sharing a snap. Just drag a folder of images (pretty much any common format) to the JPEG4Web window, and set your size and compression (JPEG4Web will give you a live preview of the output) and click Export!
JPEG4Web lets you crop, resize, compress, and save JPEGs for use on the Web. Drag and image file to the editor window or the application icon in the Dock. Resize and compress the image using the sliders. Select an area and click on the Crop tool. Click Save and you are ready to upload! Adding a watermark and batch processing capable.

This is my goto app for quickly resizing images!
4 stars only because there's a mess with the 1.9.0 dmg that is formatted as APFS and won't open in 10.11 and earlier OSes, of course.
After I got it from a 10.13 system, it launches under 10.11 but gives an error when you add an image.
To answer the "Most helpful" comment here: it's faster and easier than other apps and cheaper than GraphicConverter too.

This is a wonderful, easy to use application. Being able to resize in realtime, with sliders, is fantastic !! Great work, Mr Developer.

I bought this after trying it out. It is pretty much just what I was looking for; Cropping, adjusting jpg quality, and resizing. I like the realtime resizing. Seems to save files so that they don't know they are jpgs(they don't auto open in preview upon double click) but if you drag them to preview they will open.
