News and Updates:
- Will now warn if a skin update also requires a jAlbum update
- Updated Polish, English and Swedish translations
- Updated bundled skins Tiger, PhotoBlogger, Story, Projector and Minimal
- When uploading projects in the background, jAlbum no longer pops up the resulting gallery in the browser. A notification is shown, and that's enough for background tasks.
- jAlbum no longer does regular network calls to check for new "collaborative images" if no such projects are active
Bug fixes:
- Fix to accidental deletion of audio clips if an image is renamed when only the case differs
- jAlbum was reprocessing excluded images that were used to represent folders every time, therefore slowing down repetitive album builds
- The progress bar wasn't updated while processing excluded images that are also used to represent folders
- The progress bar could sometimes display more progressed than total images
- jAlbum would buffer up and flood our servers with checks for "collaborative images" if the computer was woken up from sleep
- "Import settings from published album" would fail if album is hosted at jalbum.net and URL ends with a slash
- jAlbum would incorrectly generate the "imageRenditions" variable and JSON file entry for 360 images lacking renditions

Have been using jalbum for years for my personal web page, setting up photo galleries from vacations. Works well and I like the formats that other people have contributed.

I'm a beginner, so this software was exactly for me) I don't need to learn a lot to make a nice-looking album. I like numerous lovely backgrounds, the jAlbum offers. I can agree with others that the price is reasonable for such a nice app. Will continue to use it with pleasure.

I was about to purchase the jAlbum software $39, but after giving my credit card info, I was asked the last 6 digits of my social security number for further Visa "verification". I do not give out this information and thus will be looking elsewhere for a commprable software application, as much as I wanted this one.

I had been looking for a web gallery app ever since Adobe removed the one they had in Photoshop. This fits the bill, and I can tweak the code in Dreamweaver to remove stuff I don't want, like the link to the developer's site and the skin info. Very nice over all!

This has been the best album application for many, many years already and it still is. Glad to see that it is still as actively developed as it has always been. And it's still free, too!
Everybody who wants to publish pictures on his or her web site or burn them on CD for friends or family should give jAlbum a try. Very likely you won't need nor want to use anything else again.

I was pretty impressed with this program, as well as with several of the additional skins you can download online. The albums you create are very professional looking for the most part. I would appreciate knowing which skins are entirely free to use, and which require registration (and a fee) to remove a nag message. The only other improvement I can think of is an easy way to remove a skin you've installed once you've decided you no longer want it.

This is a superb application. Within half an hour after downloading I was able to integrate a classy photo gallery with my website. Tremendous value as a free application, but I suggest that you make a donation if it saved you time and aggravation. It was very intuitive to use. The setup for integrating with a website is straight forward, and it functioned, at least for the first time, without hiccups. This is the way I would like to see all apps to work: doing a few speciic tasks very well.

This program is brilliant! Especially with version 7, it is easy to use and looks great. The included skins are attractive and the galleries look professional.
JAlbum's greatest strength is the ability to make your own skins. It is completely customizable, flexible and easy to learn if you know HTML. There is also an active user community. Finally, if you ever need to use a PC JAlbum will run on that too.
