Guitar Shed is a set of tools for guitarists, bassists, and other types of musicians. Includes a Chromatic tuner, an extensive tonal tuner with customizable alternative tunings, a metronome, a chord library, tablature organizer, jam machine, song jam - which lets you slow your songs down for practice (without changing the pitch), as well as loop sections continuously for simple learning.

Amazingly enough, even though it's nearly ten year old software, it sill runs fine on OS X 10.11.

This is an amazing application. By far the best out. A must have for any musician! One note... No 12 string support? Would be nice to see 12 string tuner support.

still my favourite of the guitar - X based tuners. plus this thing has a lot more than a killer tuner. all of those other sections in the program just arent available in other software packages. I'm a keeper for now and forseeable future unless some other company comes out with the killa' combo of it all. Guitar Shed works for me, my friends and bandmates also dig it and cant wate to see any new features come out soon in the next version I hope. for an ending......TOTALLY COOOL *$&%! Get it!

This is a very useful program. The tuning capabilities in it are far superior to anything I have seen of its kind. It helps out a lot. Every update it just keeps on getting better. Thank you guys... Ross

I see it i see it. the light!!! oh yaaaa. this program will change my life and i'm not even kidding haha. No but seriously, this thing is really cool. rock-solid foundation and modules, great ui and easy to get around in. Plus the metronome and new jam loops that are (ooooooso much better than their last version) are great. all in all yes I definitely think this is a great update. and at $18 (15 or so pounds for me) - it's a steal!!

Ya, I suck. Though I've been playing guitar for over 12 years and still find myself using this app all the time. New or old guitar players, this is a handy app to have.

yeeeeeeeehaaaawww. by george i think i found it. guitar shed works like a charm on top of 2 pints of pillsnakes. for you laymen, that means very very good. i seriously love this app. it reminds me of some older OS 9 progs that started like this, but died and never worked. This thing has all of that, and much more. plus the design in itself is a beautiful masterpiece. Ok, i'm done raving. but this is some seriously good shi....stuff.

Anonymous - must be something with your web browser. Just try going to their download page and right-clicking (or control-click) and choose the Save link to computer option when you're over the Mac download link. That should solve your problem. Downloaded fine for me in Safari...maybe you're using an older browser?

a nicely laid out app that is totally useful for me and my friends. I have it installed in my garage computer and we use it to tune to daily for rehearsal.

Panther + this works fine. No problems here everything looks to be working correctly. Happy to have panther compatibility. yay!!!
