I have used this app for years to publish my two podcasts on iTunes: Medical Spanish Podcast and Spanish Grammar Review. It is easy to use, works flawlessly and even more importantly, the customer service was phenomenal.

Absolutely loving Feeder V3! All my V2 feeds came across no problem and the app works for me perfectly. The ability to use Markdown is also a welcome feature. Highly recommended app for anyone hosting a podcast feed!

For years I have used Podcast Maker by Lemonz Dream to create my RSS feeds for podcasts.. It worked beautifully until Yosemite came out and now it hangs on launch. It appears abandoned by the developer. I searched to find a good replacement and found options to be limited. Feeder seemed to be the most full-featured and capable of handling my needs so I contacted the developer who responded almost immediately (a good sign). It took me a little bit to catch on to the differences between it and Podcast Maker. I had a little trouble with the upload directories in the previous version, however, version 2.56 resolved all those issues and now works perfectly. I initially did not think the ability to share to social media would be significant, but it has been. It has dramatically increased the hits to my podcast. I am extremely happy with Feeder now. Thanks to Steve at Reinvented Software for his help getting started!

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade but for the life of me I just can't see how the developer justifies a price tag of $39. I've recently become a big fan of RSS feeds and I've used a few of them but there are some really cool free and cheaper alternatives. In the Safari browser one can install an extension for Google Reader called Google Reeder Snow Leopard which instantly transforms the Google Reader interface into a gorgeous Mac interface. This extension was the missing touch to Google Reeder and I still find Google's implementation to be the best... for free. Again I find no fault in this app but the price is a bit steep.

Version 2.0 and above of this app is excellent. The interface is great, and I use it exclusively to keep Sparkle appcasts up-to-date. I highly recommend this app to anyone who gets tired of writing RSS feeds by hand, ever.

I love this program! Be forewarned that it is not super easy to use, but the combination of user interface and features simply cannot be beat. I tried many other programs, but Feeder is the only one that supports ALL fields for ALL feed types: podcasts (normal and iTunes podcasts), newsfeeds, etc. Thanks to feeder our walki-talki.com rss/podcast need be rendered exactly once, and it runs EVERYWHERE. Support from the developer has been excellent, and the value is superb if you consider that this is the only software you will need to generate all of your feeds. And, there are so many creature comforts in this software: get mp3 data from the web, notify ping services, publish automatically to iTunes and ftp server, insert html tags (images and links), etc., etc. Great piece of software.

This is the tool of choice for RSS feeds. I prefer Podcast Maker for podcast feeds (especially when feeding to iTunes). Podcast Maker does not do a very good job with RSS feeds outside of the iTunes shop (can't auto-generate .rss feeds) so Feeder fills the gap with perfection. Now, If I could find one tool that provides the best of Podcast submissions for iTunes as .xml, Podcast submissions for the rest of the world as .xml (yes, iTunes IS different), then be able to produce an RSS .rss feed, that would be heaven. In other words, I need the same tool to generate .rss, .xml and the unique iTunes .xml requirements in one tool and one pass. Neither Feeder nor Podcast Maker meet the need but together, I can piece it together with a little bubble gum and wires. I'm rating Feeder based solely on it's merits as an RSS feed tool.

I've tried every available RSS creation program I could get my hands on. None of them were as easy to use or offered as many options as Feeder did. My only wish would be the option of a more WYSIWYG editor--however, the library view gives you that view when you save so it's not too bad. A great program!

My Podcast feed is up on my server and I'm now at episode 12, so I know the feed is alright and works, however when having feeder download the xml file it will always fail. Such a shame, I looked like a useful piece of software.

WOW! This app is fantastic. The guys at Feeder have homed in on the 'Really Simple' bit of RSS and made it their mantra. When I used Feeder for the first time, I freely admit that I didn't have a clue what I was doing - all I knew is that I wanted to publish a feed. As soon as I downloaded Feeder, it started to prompt me what to do. This little beauty held my hand the whole way through the process, providing nifty little prompts when I asked for them and generally ensuring even a technobimbo like me could publish a feed correctly. My feed was published in minutes, I was amazed at how speedy and simple the whole process was. I can't recommend this highly enough. Another hugely satisfied customer!

Just figured I'd show you guys a real world example of Feeder in action. http://www.deepfunkrecords.com/news.xml or feed://www.deepfunkrecords.com/news.xml Nothing too complex, just a mirror of the news from the Deepfunk Records website. CL

Disregard the nonsense below and read this from a happy registered user. This is by far the BEST if not the only application of its kind. Period. Can't tell you how long I searched for a halfway decent app that does a fraction of what Feeder does out of the box. If you want to maintain one or more RSS feeds and don't want to go thru the process of handcoding them, this is it. It has made publishing and managing my feeds quick and easy, without any problems so far. Podcasting? Here ya go. The Templating feature itself is worth every penny and trust me its only one of too many to rant about here. I hope the development of Feeder continues as I plan to be on board for the duration. 5 STARS

Neither of the reviewers for 1.0 contacted Reinvented Software about the problems mentioned below. Fortunately, other people did and the 1.0.1 version was released within 5 days to address these problems. Developers don't get notified when people post reviews on sites such as this. Additionally, such problems are usually specific to a particular configuration - one which will not have had access to test or recreate the problem. If you encounter problems with our software, please get in touch through the Reinvented Software web site. Thank you.

ACK! Make sure you backup your feeds before using this app! It completely wiped out both the remote and local copies of my feeds!

I really want to like this program. It's *exactly* the type of thing that I need -- currently, I use a combination of BBEdit and FTP software to manually create my feeds and this app really makes it that much more efficient. The only problem (and it's a big one) is that I cannot publish my feeds. Apparently, the software requires that passive FTP mode be used, which doesn't work with my particular web server configuration. Turning passive mode off causes the app to crash. In all other aspects, the app is very well put together and shows a lot of potential. But for $25, I really expect it to be MUCH more polished.
