I just purchased/subscribed a few weeks ago but this app has been awesome for me. It was not difficult to learn the workflow and I was up and using it within a day. During the quarantine period we have broadcast a devotional and Bible study on Facebook live. Ecamm make it incredibly simple to put the slides on screen with a "picture in picture"
The overlays makes it easy to add announcements to the screen. In my judgment this software is worth the money for what it does.

Be aware that Ecamm recently switched to a subscription model for Ecamm Live. It currently starts at $12/month annually. This is double the one-off cost for only one year.

This is an updated review of Ecamm Live. After contacting the developer (I thought they didn't write back, but they did, it went my my junk, my bad), they immediately purchased a VIXIA DV camcorder, then released a new version which supports DV cams. DANG! Thats what I call service. Now ECamm Live works perfect!

After purchasing this product and installing it on our church mac mini with a VIXIA camcorder installed, we had zero luck getting it to work. ECamm recognized the camera but not the audio and wouldn't stream. The one tiny fraction of a minute it said it was streaming, it never registered the live stream with FB. I submitted a ticket but never heard back.. Feels like a wasted $30. Can't recommend this software to anyone at the moment.
