Hello, it's not working on my mac. i'm receiving warning on below. I try turn of stream , but it's never worked... can anybody help me , what is the problem.. "iPhoto seems to be unresponsive or is busy in performing some operations. If Photo Stream is enabled in iPhoto, please turn it off."

No luck ! Tried twice and twice hanged iPhoto. Both times I had to force-quit. After 1st crash, when I relaunched iphoto, I got the message "some incoherence have been found in iphoto database" with option to repait... which I did. Second time I waited until iphoto was calm and responsive (no background activity) before launching Duplicate Cleaner, but after some time it gave me again the message "iPhoto is not responsive..." and truly it was hanged ! There wo't be a third try, sorry.

Can only agree to other commentors: great start for a free utility. Easy scan, and especially in times of PhotoStream, there's always a good chance of duplicates. That said, I't mid term really like to see the possibility to find (and subsequently remove) duplicates of modified files. E.g. when rotating an image, or performing some image enhancements in iPhoto, iPhoto will keep the unmodified original (in order to always be able to revert back to it). It would be an incredible space saver if one would be able to delete the originals. But I realize that this might require a scan on file system level, whereas iPhotoDuplicateCleaner performs its task by using AppleScript from all I can observe. But anyway, already great the way it currently is. Thanks to the developer for making this available for free!

Free and easy of use to maintain my iPhoto library to find my old duplicates photos.

Its a Free product to find duplicate images/videos of your iPhoto library. There are no risk to lose your photos/videos as app moves selected duplicate items into iPhoto Trash. It can helpful to save quite amazing space on mac..and such a nice user interface that makes it very handy and easy to use, just need to click on scan button and it wiil detect duplicate images from the library..and most importantly its free..!! I hope, this tool will also available for windows versions.
