Just tried installing it for someone, and it is stuck in an update loop and never completes launching. Tried in the home area and the main applications folder. Buggy software.

Won't update. I am not sure what is going on, but I was able to use discord without having the app on my mac. Then I started having problems where my mac would not recognize discord invites. So, I came here to update my discord only to find that I never had the app installed to begin with - confusing. I downloaded the app here and tried to open it but got a rotating 'failed to update' spinning logo. It tried to update for more than 15 minutes. I had to hard close it to get it to stop as it was not responding. I can type in 'discord.com' and go to the site, but I still have a few bugs using the site and cannot accept discord invites.
