DipTrace overview
DipTrace is a Schematic and PCB design tool. It allows you to convert schematics to PCB and back while being able to annotate easily. It also features wide import/export capabilities.
DipTrace features board design with smart manual routing an shape-based auto-router. You can take advantage of real-time DRC, high-speed and differential signals, 3D preview, STEP export, and Gerber and ODB++ manufacturing output.

PCB Layout
- Bug-fix: In Windows XP, 7, 8.1, some STEP models are not exported.
- Bug-fix: An error in pattern name search in the ODB++ structure may cause the export to fail.
- Bug-fix: Inverted text is not mirrored for print preview / print if “Flip text automatically” option is off.
- Bug-fix: Changes in Dimension Properties are not updated immediately on the Properties panel.
- Bug-fix: When the Change Side command is applied, Angle is not immediately updated on the Component Properties panel.
Schematics
- Selection of very small components with a mouse click has been improved.
- Bug-fix: Change of pattern is not immediately updated on the Component Properties panel.
Pattern Editor
- Bug-fix: The display of a hole with a negative diameter in a through pad has been removed.

I liked this package in the free reduced pin count mode that I bought version 3 and then bought version 4.
It's been incredibly stable for me, and well worth every sent I have spent.
Who cares if it runs under wine, its the user experience and the end product that counts. And I have used Altium and others.

This is not a Mac app, it's a wineskin wrap for a Windows app. And you call this professional ? 1-star .
