Diabetes is a chronic disease with no short-term hope for a cure. Therefore, to use such a tool diabetics have to be prepared to manually enter a significant amount of data each and every single day of their life. Nowadays, many glycometers and insulin delivery systems (pumps) record these data and can connect to computers for downloading these data. Until this program is able to communicate with such devices, or import data collected through another software (most providers propose some kind of web tool), there is very little use for such a program, which is not much more than a sophisticated spreadsheet to ease the life of patients or caregivers.
