"Hoping card" ? Hop, hop, hop...

<continued> Alas, the developer doesn't allow for contact with them, it only offers help documents on the website, I can only hope they read MacUpdate regularly. Anyway, Cardhop worked perfectly before and has become totally useless after upgrading to Monterey.

Like PaulWilkinson9977 I'm having problems with Cardhop after upgrading to Monterey. Unfortunately Paul doesn't elaborate but I encounter this problem: Cardhop suddenly doesn't contain any cards anymore. I checked my settings, Cardhop has access to Contacts in my Preferences but all I see when I open Cardhop is a black page with the words 'No cards'. Alas, the website of the developer

Top addition for my Mac !

Really been enjoying Cardhop and the features it has above Apple's Contacts app. Had a strange bug in 1.2.3 where the title and company would disappear after a few seconds of entry and before I was able to save the card. Filed a bug with them, and was happy with their relentless pursuit of a fix despite the difficulty to reproducing and tracking it down. All fixed now, and I'm a fan.

Cardhop is getting better. Already a better alternative to Apple's contacts. Good luck for the developers!

Cool little app

Cardhop's developers were bang on when they wrote, "…we learned that the whole contacts “genre” is bad. Really bad." We've all watched MacOS contacts databases come and go. What we haven't seen before is an innovative company like Flexibits, the developers of Fantastical, spend years developing an app that redefines how we interact with our contacts. My recommendations: 1. Watch their short video. 2. Download the demo. Cardhop is definitely worthy of your time. One more thing: Apple's Contacts app has been so uninteresting that I ignored a double iCloud group listing for years. Even though this was obviously an Apple/User problem, Flexibits support stepped up and solved my issue. Thank you Kent.

I use owncloud as my carddav server and have many problems using the contacts app in macOS. As cardhop depends on the contacts app, I can't use it. Why isn't there an option to set up an account without using the main contacts app? BusyContacts works perfectly well.

Hand utility for $15. I was using Interact for parsing my contact data. Cardhop jumps up into another level of not only parsing the data but actually allowing the user to use that data without opening Contacts.app. You can make calls via bluetooth or Continuity/Wi-Fi calling very quickly form Cardhop, my favorite feature thus far. The contacts groups feature is quite useful when sending an email to a group of people. The ability to quickly find contact information is a big plus for me. Cardhop give you much more information and the ability to edit your contact data, that most of the launcher apps do not allow you to do. I Have to say that am very pleased with it thus far.

The Parser looks like it works wonderfully like most Flexibit apps. Love how easy it is to add a new contact via natural language or even update them. Very clean UI. Finally a contacts app that won't frustrate me. Something i'll likely use everyday.

The first impression is very favourable, and for those who are still using CoBook and never switched to FullContact's cloud service, Cardhop seems like it could well be a worthy successor.

Its looks and functioning shares much of the polish of Fantastical, and if Flexbits devote as much attention to keeping it up-to-date as they do with Fantastical, its future looks bright.
