It took a long long time but it looks Caprine 2.57.4 finally cured the dark mode bug! The UI might still need some optimisation (it flickers during launch time) but then it works!

Don't get fooled by the release notes: the dark mode issue has NOT been fixed (at least in the Mac version)... :-(

Despite the various updates, it still have graphic issues in dark mode (here on 10.14). Set the view to Dark theme, close the app, relaunch: text is white on white... :-/

iMac, 27-inch, late 2015, running Catalina 10.5.5. Downloaded the "Caprine-2.47.0-mac.zip" and put the unzipped app in my Applications folder. I double-clicked on it (also tried right-click > Open) but I just got this message, "The application “Caprine.app” can’t be opened."

I love this app but 2.41.1 introduced a bug on my Mac running Catalina. Clicking on the emoji symbol causes the entire main window to go blank. Nothing short of restarting the app fixes it. I've tried using System emoji, Facebook emoji, and Messenger emoji. I deleted prefs and reinstalled, and it didn't help. Help?
