I personally have been using the bmi calculator over at patient.co.uk to track my weight loss. Their website is highly useful and provides great advice!
Thanks for all of the great information on the BMI Calculator. I have been using an online BMI calculator from a weight loss website called http://www.FitClick.com. The BMI calculator is a great way to calculate your body mass and percentage of fat and jump start your workouts to lower your body fat and/or increase your muscle size. Breaking it down for people looking to enhance their weight loss is a great idea; it helps me comprehend the topic a little better (which is good right?)
Thanks for your community contribution, I appreciate it :D

Your'e right, Mister. That's why the extracted application is like 9 MB in size. A bit oversized for this task.
I have a BMI Example in a cocoa book. It was very useful to see how connections are made (Interface Builder, a window with 3 text-fields and one button :), but the BMI-Task himself is rather boring.
This app seems like a developers first attempt at using RealBASIC.
It's not bad, but it is basic.
For future versions, I'd suggest adding the ability to use metric or even mixed measurements. (Metric height and Imperial/US weight, for instance.)
