Adobe DNG Converter

Doesn't support old formats such as RW2 (Panasonic Lumix), so what's the point?

If you have MAC O.S. 12.10.1 it doesn't work. So I am guessing Adobe doesn't care and is more interested in shoving their subscription scheme down your throat. Adobe is not forthcoming with any solution. I like P.S. CS 6 and will continue to look for a workaround. I don't expect any help from Adobe.

Convenient way to get my pics converted without any troubles. The only thing I didn't like was that the program ran a bit slower when importing the raw files.

Don't know where MacUpdate gets "version 12.1" from - the link takes you to version 11.3.

Crash under Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3 beta 1 and also 10.13.2 Fix please Adobe

Not running properly with High Sierra 10.13.1 beta 3. It just started, no app window appear on the desktop, only a very small app window with D letter shown up. Useless. May be it required legacy Java 6 from Apple which is disabled in 10.13.1 beta 3

At least this is properly labelled on MacUpdate, unlike Adobe Camera Raw 8.4, which also gets you the DNG Converter.

Works very well. Was able to use this to convert Nokia Lumia 1020's .DNG raw files to a format that the current version of Mac OS X and iPhoto can actually use. If your camera is on the list of supported devices, this will probably work for you. Anyone who is familiar with Photoshop's Batch dialog or other mass-convert utilities will probably get along just fine with the interface. It's not as simple as something developed by Apple, but it gets the job done. My setup: Mac OS X 10.9.1 iPhoto 9.5.1 Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.03 Nokia Lumia 1020 running Nokia Black / GDR3 In preferences, set Compatibility to "Camera Raw 4.6 and later" (this was the newest version to work in OSX/iPhoto)

When I convert to DNG using the lossy compression, the new created DNGs have no more preview in the Finder and no way to make them have a preview! Mac OS 10.6.8

I downloaded this version 6.6. It states it's also for PPC but it will nt launch, say's "You cannot open the application “Adobe DNG Converter.app” because it is not supported on this architecture." Bummer. G5 Dual 2.3 PPC 10.5.8

Ok. Been using for years. However, now learning more and more and more. Changed a batch of NEF to DNG and looks like 'Creation Date' changes. For those who are way more trained, is this true. I want something that keeps the 'Creation Date' on the EXIF data or the "Get Info" data card. Any advice? Thank you. Patrick

Why doesn't Adobe's CS3 "Adobe Updater" application (in the Utilities folder) see this as an update that should be automatically downloaded and installed? The preferences for Adobe Updater are set to include every possible component of the CS3 family. I have version 4.2 of the Plug-in; the Adobe Updater fails to locate and recommend this 4.3.1 update.

3.7 is supposed to support the Pentax K10D. I tried both the plug and the converter and its corrupting the data passed about 65% of the file. Tried several files, same results. All in PEF format. I already switched to DNG (which works fine with or without this update), but I have some PEF's I took right when I got my camera and I was hoping to update them to DNG.

Grrr still no support for the Canon 400d with version 3.5

...and it seems to have been pulled. 3.1 is the latest version I can find in that directory. Wonder what happened.

What good is Adobe's Update utility if it doesn't see things like this?

HUH?! There is only a RAM plugin in the dmg file, no DNG converter and no installation instructions. Where the h... should I put it? And why is this update nowhere to be found on Adobe.com???
